AI Builder Workshop

Build one real working thing in 2 days using Claude Code and a disciplined spec-plan-ship loop.

Most coding workshops teach you to type code. This one teaches you to spec and review well enough that an AI agent does the typing for you, and you walk out two days later with a real project deployed to a live URL.

What you get with AI Builder Workshop.

Plain-language scope. If something isn't on this list, it isn't in the engagement: ask me and we'll write it in or leave it out.

01

Claude Code on your laptop

Installed, configured, and tuned to work you actually do before Day 1 ends.

02

A working CLAUDE.md and the skill to write one

For a repo you actually care about, not a toy demo project.

03

One real task shipped end-to-end

Plan Mode, Spec, Execute, Iterate. You drive Claude on something real.

04

A live URL on the open internet

Deployed in-room on Day 2 to Cloudflare Pages. No GitHub or infra to manage.

05

A committed artifact

Commit, PR, spec, or script produced during the workshop. Yours to keep.

06

30-day commitment with follow-up

Named out loud, written down, with a follow-up touchpoint.

03

Ship

Two days in the workshop. Build one real project end-to-end with Claude Code, deploy on Day 2, leave with a 30-day commitment and the discipline wired in.

Pricing

3 tiers. Pick the one that fits.

Same process, different depth. Sized to your team.

Common questions

The questions people ask.

How is this different from AI Starter?+

AI Starter is for teams that want AI in their existing non-coding work. Proposals, email, ops. The curriculum is built around the team's actual tasks and a manager books the whole team for a half-day. AI Builder is for individuals who want to build software with AI agents. You bring a project, the workshop teaches the discipline, you leave with one shipped thing. If you want both, send a manager to AI Starter and yourself to AI Builder.

Can my employer expense this as training?+

Yes. The workshop is structured to qualify as professional development for most corporate training budgets. We provide a receipt, attendance letter, and a one-page summary of learning outcomes on request. Ask your L&D or People Ops team for a training budget line.

I'm not a developer. Should I come?+

Maybe. The workshop is dev-knowledge-agnostic: we teach spec-writing and review, which Claude Code uses to produce code for you. You'll fit in if you are comfortable installing a tool on your laptop and want to build something. If you want AI help with non-coding work (sales, email, ops), the AI Starter workshop is a better fit.

What if I can't get Claude Code installed before Day 1?+

A pre-workshop setup email arrives one week out with step-by-step instructions. The evening before Day 1, we run a free 30-minute group setup office hour to unstick anyone. If after all that setup still fails on your machine, you get a full refund.

Do I need a specific IDE?+

Yes. VS Code is the primary recommended editor, with a JetBrains IDE (IntelliJ, PyCharm, WebStorm, etc.) as a supported alternative. Claude Code integrates natively with both, and workshop demos assume one of these two. Other editors can use Claude Code via the CLI, but some IDE-specific exercises will not translate one-to-one.

Will there be a recording?+

Delivery 1 may be recorded for quality review and possibly a highlight reel. Attendees are not required to appear on camera. Recording policy is finalized before the event.

Is this a certification?+

No. This is a working workshop focused on a committed artifact, not a credential. If you want a cert, there are other programs. If you want to ship something real, come to this one.

What's the refund policy?+

Full refund if you request it 7 or more days before Day 1. Full refund if setup genuinely cannot be made to work on your machine during the pre-workshop check. Otherwise the seat is non-refundable but transferable. You can send a colleague in your place.

What does each person walk out with?+

One real project, deployed to a live URL, built over two days with Claude Code. You also leave with the spec, plan, ship discipline wired into how you work day to day.

Is it on-site or remote, and how big is the group?+

Public cohorts run remote in small groups so everyone ships something real. 1-on-1 is just you. Custom team engagements are scoped to your team and can run on-site or remote.

What does it cost?+

From $500 per seat in a public cohort. 1-on-1 coaching is $3,500, and a custom team engagement is $8,000. Each format ships one deployed project over two days.
